So Labour announce a national enquiry and it is a joke.

The joke is the Leader of the Labour Party

Is the Dear Leader jumping on the Far Right bandwagon, or is he just a complete imbecile ?

In 2022 the Jay enquiry recommended a national enquiry. The Tories ignored it. It also made 19 other recommendations which the Tories also ignored, implementing precisely none of them.

But yeah, it's Labour who are the joke.

I think the real joke is the one who is so blind by political loyalty that he can't see what a massive hypocrite he is being.

Their just doing what the likes of Tommy Robinson was asking for way back in 2009, but its good to see Labour jumping on the far right bandwagon and blowing their racist dog whistles along with Tommy Robinson now.

No need for an enquiry to look for the cause, the men all followed a rapist and child abuser who they call the perfect man, they want to be just like him and followed his disgusting example. The rape of captives is condoned in their nasty little book.

They were so easily exploited as the police, social workers, MPs and councillors all on the side of the rapists allowing them to rape underage girls with impunity.

Yes I agree.
This enquiry will be beneficial even if it just opens people eyes.

Perhaps this inquiry should examine the reason why the recommendations from the previous inquiry were not implemented.

So no need for an inquiry then?

Just trot you out and you’ll deliver a verdict.

If the only outcome of this is that it opens peoples eyes then it will be a massive failure.   All of those complicit in the rape of underage girls, be it police, social workers, MPs, Councillors, CPS lawyers (including Starmer) should go to jail, and for a lot longer than a woman who made a hurty worded tweet.   It's too wide spread to be just a case of turning a blind eye and there is complicity and corruption here.   The speed of which Starmer has u-turned on this suggests the report is going to be extremely damning on Starmer and/or his ilk, and the fact that such a clueless moron like Starmer was so decisive on this after seeing the report suggests it is going to reveal exactly what the likes of Tommy Robinson et all have been saying for over a decade now.

No doubt all the posters (usual suspects) who said an inquiry was a waste of time will be along shortly to praise Starmer for "doing the right thing". 😃

Better late than never. The core base of Labour has opposed an inquiry for fear of upsetting voting blocks who vote for Labour. The extreme left  and  student groups would not have allowed  the inquiry. Now they will have a difficult time  stopping it. Starmer needed an excuse to upset much of the party and now he has it.

This is going to upset a lot of people, the cops who turned a blind eye, the social services, the judiciary and CPS, even some politicians.

All those found to be aiding the grooming gangs or rape gangs, need to be dealt with most severely!

If found guilty.....prison!

You're right, it is. The police are now going to open up over 800 cases that were shelved with view to prosecute.

"More than 800 grooming gang cases have already been identified by police after I asked them to look again at cases which had closed too early.

"Now we are asking the National Crime Agency to lead a major nationwide operation to track down more perpetrators and bring them to justice."

https://news.sky.com/story/nationwide-police-operation-on-grooming-gangs-announced-13384155?dcmp=snt-sf-twitter

Oh and also coming out in the report when it goes public today in the UK:

"The report is also expected to link illegal immigration with the exploitation of young girls."

The Tories took no action for 14 years.   As soon as Labour was in power a 'grooming gangs inquiry' was demanded. Baroness Casey and Jay advised it was not needed but implementation of previous recommendations was.  As a result, Starmer said "no inquiry" but ordered a review of the evidence.  The review by Casey states that an Inquiry is needed.  One is immediately announced Now they scream "he has U turned"  even though it was a decision after evaluation of evidence. "Do it fast" they demand even though it's a process that will need years to investigate properly so that victims are not missed.  The weaponisation of victims for political gain by Tories, Reform and others is sickening.

Starmer is neck deep in the cover up as head of the CPS and DPP

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-manchester-17853560

It took a man by the name of Nazir Afzal to tell  Starmer that he was prosecuting, after the case was originally dropped by the CPS.

Never landed on my desk is no excuse for the Head of the CPS and DPP.

He is either a bungling idiot, who should be stripped of his tax free pension and KCB, or is complicit in the cover up and should be jailed, along side all the rest of them, that covered up, facilitated, or done nothing whilst in Public Office.

Starmer is panicking.

His past transgressions are coming back to haunt him.

Karma has come knocking.

Labour need to ditch him.

Don't forget that this idiot has power and knows the judges quite well.  Many judges are just pedophile protecting activists who consider a single hurty worded tweet a more sinister crime deserving of prison time than a BBC news presenter who has indecent images of children on his computer or a Labour MP who beat a constituent several times whilst he was down and on the ground.  This will be a judge led enquiry and the judge will be selected by the government.

I am not optimistic this enquiry will not be delayed, not be time limited to be completed by the end of this shambolic government, or will not be handled by one of Starmer's mates.  Starmer is bad actor and moronic politician but I cannot see him being that stupid to select a judge who doesn't share his views that working class girls are just necessary collateral damage and their rapes are just a minor inconvenience in comparison to his multicultural globalist fantasy.

And needs to be broadcast live, like the Horizon Scandal Inquiry.

What are the words I'm looking for......... Starmer is famous for them....... It will come to me

Ohhhh yes. In order to ensure openness and transparency.

If it weren't for Tommy they would still be calling Pakistani grooming gangs a conspiracy theory. Brits all owe him thanks and respect - apart from the groomers and far left wingnuts that supported them.

Thank you Tommy Robinson for keeping our kids safe.

You need a proper timeline instead of making things up, here

2023: A Grooming Gangs Taskforce is set up by Rishi Sunak's government, with qualified officers from all 43 police forces in England and Wales, and data analysts. In May 2024, 550 suspects had been arrested and 4,000 victims identified.
