Report Supreme Court to Review Thaksin's Hospital Transfer Drama

The Medical Council of Thailand (MCT) is gearing up to hand over the findings from its probe into Thaksin Shinawatra's controversial hospital transfer directly to the Supreme Court. The investigation targeted three doctors allegedly entangled in Thaksin's high-profile move from prison to hospital care, prompting disciplinary measures against them.

 

Back on May 8, the MCT Board convened and decided to impose disciplinary actions on three medics tied to the Medical Correctional Institution and Police General Hospital. It seems the professional lines were blurred, as these doctors face the spotlight for potentially breaching ethical norms.

 

One doctor managed to evade allegations, but the remaining trio fell afoul of ethical conduct and await disciplinary repercussions.

 

Srisuwan Janya—who helms the "Love Nation, Love the Land" group,  propelled the probe forward by lodging formal complaints. An eye-watering resolution, along with the probe's outcome, is set to land on each doctor's desk soon, giving them the full picture of MCT's verdict.

 

However, this isn't an immediate dismissal; their licences face suspension, but there's an ample grace period for patient care transition and appeals.

 

The Supreme Court's Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions eagerly awaits these resolutions. Their ongoing inquiry into the nitty-gritty of Thaksin's one-year jail sentence execution seeks clarity on how and why the hospital stint came about.

 

An official nod from the court to scrutinise these documents crossed the MCT's threshold last Thursday.

 

Furthermore, a separate Supreme Court order requests inspecting the National Human Rights Commission’s (NHRC) conclusions about Thaksin's medical treatment.

 

The NHRC's prior inquiry flagged alarm bells about special treatment bestowed upon Thaksin, which starkly contrasts with the norm for fellow inmates.

 

The hefty 181-day hospital stay raises eyebrows, questioning the legitimacy of such prolonged medical intervention.

 

As it stands, the Supreme Court delves deeper, examining all facets of Thaksin's contentious transfer amid calls for transparency in the treatment of influential figures.

There suspension will be based on the amount of dirt and who they have dirt on.  If they give them the PM or high ups their suspension will be lighter

Well, Thaksin fell, then he threw his sister under the bus followed by his daughter, also ending under the bus. 

Maybe a oneway flight anywhere outside Thailand might bring some changes and, if you are at it, pack all the rest of those crooks as well; a fleet of 50 - 60 A380 aircraft might do the trick - without baggage of course!

Everyone saw the photo on his plane on arrival very healthy and fit national press pic.Next picture he is on deaths door and escaped any prison time in his 5 star room.Then released  and now free to control from the back room.End result is nothing happens he has served his time it will say .The next case will be his sister who also left thru cambodia night before the sentence what will she get upon her return or the red bull heir.2 cases the courts will look at when the time comes
