That may be known location and time for gay cruisers. Chiang Mai is feeling really gay these days. I'm constantly asking my wife if she thinks people are gay or not, men and women. Maybe it's all those fancy cafes with the expensive croissants turning the kids gay? 😂

 

I used to live next to a park in the US where they would do this too. It was annoying and seeing used condoms on the grass everyday and every so often I'd having something vulgar said to me. Goes with the territory I guess.

CM seems like most Thai cities. 10 to 15% are gay everywhere.

 

The Old City has a 1000 tourists and lots of cafes. Never seen gays hugging random people.

 

In my wife's village shop there's a ladyboy behind the counter.

 

In Khon Kaen I've been served by ladyboys.

I think there is some truth to this.

 

Yesterday I was shopping (for far too long) with my GF, her sister plus two teenage females. Spent a considerable amount of time in the female clothing department and by the time we got home I was pretty sure I had become a Tranny.

Lots of gays work 7/11 and driver apps. They are obviously gay, including lesbians. Most Thai gays are fairly open.

You don't understand that I live here yet? I was asking you specifically about what you think you know about gays in a certain area, and that straight people don't run after 10:30, which is just your assumption  and false, as all types of people run at all times of day and night.  The truth is, you go by surveys and then make assumptions about them in general. I actually knew quite a bit about Thailand decades before I moved here, and it has been proven since to be true and worse than what I heard. Some act obviously gay and aren't. many, actually most, don't act overtly gay and if they didn't go to gay hangouts, you would never know. 

Any reaction short of a kick in the nuts makes you a homo too.

Actually it's pretty easy to sleep after aerobic exercise, especially if you're a morning person and not a night owl. Straights have sex all hours of the day, as do gays. I worked out in gyms 50 years, around sweaty people all the time, and made many friends there. Gay has nothing to do with it, and croissant eating doesn't make you gay. I've known many gay people in my life that weren't openly showing it, especially in public areas. Things don't just sound gay. They are or they aren't, and most of the time in public you will never know it.
