Are you for real? This is from a social media account from the guy who said Ukraine would be over in a day and the Gaza Strip the next Riviera of the Middle East.

Jeez, get a grip on reality, you have been totally sucked into your echo chamber of misinformation.

Ok mate. Sure. There's going to be no ceasefire and it's just the lying nasty orange man on his social media.

If he has been taken out--it could well be by his own army--- AS France 24 News was speculating..... Iran-- it should be one of the richest countries in that region,

BBC pictures of Iran 1979 before the Muslim madness took over

Pre-1979 Iran had modern, cosmopolitan pockets, especially in Tehran, but also faced political repression, deep inequality, and limited freedoms. SAVAK, the Shah’s secret police, used surveillance and torture, and rural and religious groups were largely excluded from reforms.

The 1979 revolution was driven by political, economic, and religious grievances — not just ideology. It resulted in an Islamic Republic, but the roots ran deeper.

Calling it “madness” oversimplifies a complex history.

In many revolutions, the new rulers end up repeating — or worsening — the very abuses they once claimed to overthrow.

Trump’s proving the rule: rail against reckless wars — then start one yourself.

It's worth noting that even if this totally unsubstantiated cease fire turns out to be true rather than yet another one of Trump's grandiose projections, a cease fire is not the same thing as an end to a conflict. That would imply negotiations and agreements.

Oh please, stop your clutching!

By which you are saying he's lying about the ceasefire which after all is the topic of this thread.

With Trumps tack record of lying, probably. I see even MTG has seen the light too..........😱

I hope and pray that the leaders of Israel and Iran will made their official announcement not state TVs.

This from BBC.

Neither country has confirmed the ceasefire - Iran says if Israel stops its attacks, Iran will also bring an end to its strikes; Israel is yet to comment

Before there can be any peace talks there has to be a ceasefire. It is quite impressive that a ceasefire was obtained so quickly. It may have been the price Israel had to accept in order to get the B2 payload delivered. Whatever the reason, it is a ceasefire and hopefully it  takes hold. Unfortunately, iran's FM says there is no ceasefire and  Iran continued to launch missiles into Israel past 7 a.m. local time, when the ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump was intended to take effect. I do hope you are wrong, as the alternative is a continued war.

News is that the Ayatollah was invited to a security WhatsApp meeting and was able to evacuate the targets in time. Whew.

UK state tv good and to be trusted on Iranian matters.

Iran state tv bad and not to be trusted for Iranian matters, we should consult the BBC for that.🤣

An interesting take considering BBCs well deserved reputation for pushing misinformation.

It would seem the call that the ceasefire has been brought forward and I posted was incorrect. 2nd wave of missile attacks on Israel in 15 minutes underway. Still 1 hour 17 minutes to actual ceasefire time.

True to your post you admitted a truth...

Not one to notice your optimism was flaky at best.

Many were saying online that the ceasefire was brought forward. It wasn't. Iran launched until the very last minute.

Looks like (for now) fighting stopped. Good!

Now would be a good time for the Iranian people to uprise. If they actually want a change.

They want a change but they don't to be shot dead.
