There is a new 'political party' and it is growing worldwide - especially in all the countries who have suffered under decades of woke liberal progressive politicians screwing things up again and again. The new political Party is called the FFM.  That is short for Fu** the Feelings of Minorities.   It is a political response to the decades of nanny state policies that focus far too much on the minorities and their wants and their desires and their needs - all their feelings.  It has grown because of the inherent failure of politicians to understand what Democracy really means - the rule of law, and policies as determined by the majority of people as reflected in their voting at elections, for the benefit of the majority - not for the benefit of the minority.

 

Unfortunately, Democracy has an inherent and unfixable fault.  That fault is that ignorant stupid people vote - and they only ever focus on their own issues, and they cannot see the big picture - they cannot see the forest for the trees.  Therefore 'socially focused' politicians will promise these people to do things that they think are 'good' and are for them, even if in reality it is not good for the majority of people - such as allowing illegals into the country, or giving away free medical services and/or college degrees.  Likewise, ignorant and stupid people will vote against a political party for any reason that they think will negatively affect them directly or is not 'progressive and will hurt some people's feelings' - like deporting without appeal or redress all illegal immigrants. 

 

The ignorant stupid people did not vote in the past, because it was (and still is) obvious that their involvement in deciding who runs the country will lead to negative outcomes - especially with regards to law and order, and the economy.   Rational logical people realise that there is no 'good' Party and that they all have their faults and stupidities, and that selecting who to vote for is best done by weighing up the pros and cons of what is being offered by the Parties they could vote for.  Ignorant stupid people dont apply that logical approach, and respond emotionally and irrationally - as evidenced by how the woke liberals always vote of a charismatic Leader in a political campaign, because they 'like' them. The other side of that stupidity coin, is that they therefore have to 'dislike' who is competing against their 'favourite' politician. And should that other person win, their feelings of dislike turn to hatred and anger - and then if they are ridiculed by that winner, many of them become unhinged.

 

The 'power behind the throne' of the socially focused political parties, are the ones who decide what gets done and what does not get done, whereas the leaders of the law and order and economy focused political parties tend to be far more in control of what does and does not happen.  More and more people are beginning to realise that this is the case nowadays, and there is a growing movement towards the 'right' side policies of law and order and economic success, which are for the benefit of all - whether or not it is good for the minorities.  More and more people are realising that the 'old school wisdom' is right - feed a person fish and you feed them for a day, but give them a rod and teach a person to fish and they can feed themselves for life. The social progressive woke policies that demand a society keeps feeding more and more people fish is wrong - they can go fish themselves and if they have been given the equipment and taught how, but choose not to - then that is on them - FFM.

This is true and has been recognized for a long time, this was a reason why many democracies limited voting or did not have direct elections. Universal voting rights have become the norm I think and not always to a positive result.

Additionally, the egalitarian aspect of "all are equal" makes a lot of people unable to understand that sometimes others are smarter and more knowledgeable than they are.

"We are all equal so my ignorant uninformed opinion is just as right as that of an expert on a subject."

 

Even still, some form of democracy seems to have had the best results in governing.

 

As far as FFM, let's see how you like it if/when you become a member of a minority.

I here you and agree mate - the animals have taken over the farm as George Orwell wrote about and predicted.

I recall saying to one of the wokes years ago 'I reject your equality delusion because I want the best cricketers to play for Australia - not 50/50 men/women and not with a mandated aboriginal player, etc etc etc'.  I then went on to state that I accept that as a cricketer I am inferior and I accept that reality. Likewise, I said women are not capable of playing at the same level as men and that is reality.  Needless to say they could not accept that - the mindless delusions of some people astound me to this day.

 

PS - I am a minority - I am an Expat living in Thailand. I came here by choice and I can leave anytime - but I stay because I accept that is the situation I that am in - I am discriminated against because I am a minority.  I will complain from time to time (to the wife and other Expats), but I do accept it.
