Pattaya Blade Attack Leaves Man Bloodied; Police Hunt Knifeman

In a shocking incident yesterday, a man nicknamed “Mr Brave” emerged bloodied from an alley in Pattaya, sparking a police hunt for his attacker. The middle-aged Thai man, aged between 35 and 45, was found with severe facial injuries in Soi Banglamung 13/1, Moo 5, after what appears to be a booze-fuelled dispute.

Locals immediately gathered around the scene as “Mr Brave” staggered, visibly injured, and called out for help. Emergency services from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation, alongside officers from Bang Lamung Police Station, provided first aid before rushing him to the hospital.

A witness, who assisted the victim, reported: “He stumbled out of a house, crying for help. He claimed he’d been attacked, so I alerted the police right away.”

Despite lacking identification, Mr Brave, known for frequenting the area to drink with friends, had only some rolling tobacco, a few banknotes, and coins on him. Authorities suspect a drunken quarrel escalated into the knife attack.

Police are actively interviewing witnesses in an effort to track down the assailant. The attack is part of a worrying trend, following two other brutal assaults in the city recently.

As the investigation continues, authorities urge anyone with information to come forward. Meanwhile, residents remain on edge, hoping for a swift resolution to this unsettling series of events.

Police are stepping up their presence in the area to reassure the community while attempting to piece together the mystery surrounding the attacker's identity and motive.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, the police can use russian tourists for consultations on knife attacks during drinking parties. Russians are number 1 in the world in this question. The main thing is to refuse to drink alcohol with them, otherwise it will come to practice. Persistently refuse even when they use the key phrase: "Do you respect me?! Then drink."

Isn't this well outside Pattaya, closer to Laem Chabang?

What a breed the russians are. I had a months holiday there yrs ago. Best thing about the holiday was getting on the plane out of there. What a odd ball race of people.

OR , go for consultations in London or other european cities with "diverse" population.

No need to go drinking first.

A couple of years ago I began to notice that Russians and British are similar. You only reinforced my observations.
