In a shocking turn of events in Pattaya, a 16-year-old boy stabbed a 12-year-old student following an altercation reportedly sparked by a social media post involving a girl. The incident, which unfolded at 5 PM on July 5 in an old market parking lot in Chon Buri, has left the local community on edge.

The victim, Chef, a Mathayom 1 student, suffered severe injuries when the knife pierced the left side of his torso, damaging his internal organs. Despite a police report being lodged, the investigation seems slow to progress.

According to a friend, the conflict began over a playful social media post about a girl, escalating into a challenge between the teen, Mon, and another 12-year-old student, Toon. Toon, unable to fight due to his smaller stature, had Chef step in for him.

After Mon lost the fight, tensions appeared to ease as the two boys reconciled. However, the peace was short-lived. Mon departed briefly and returned on a motorbike, catching Chef off guard. In a swift, calculated move, Mon stabbed him before escaping the scene.

Friends rushed Chef to a nearby clinic. Due to the severity of his injuries, a doctor recommended immediate hospital treatment. Chef was initially admitted to Pattaya Padma Khun Hospital, before being transferred to Chon Buri Hospital. His condition is critical, with injuries impacting his stomach, lungs, and major blood vessels.

Chef’s aunt expressed grave concerns about achieving justice. She fears the influence of Mon’s family may hinder the legal process. So far, the family has not reached out, nor acknowledged the incident, despite the deliberate attack.

The local police are in the process of gathering evidence and pursuing the case according to legal protocol. However, the absence of swift progress has raised doubts about the efficacy of the investigation.

This unsettling incident underscores the potentially dangerous repercussions of online interactions spilling over into real life. As the situation develops, the community remains hopeful for a just resolution, while anxiously awaiting updates on Chef’s recovery.

With emotions running high, it is clear that both families and local authorities will need to address this incident with sensitivity and diligence to prevent further escalation and ensure that justice is served.

Thai-Australian Teen Stabbed to Death in Sattahip Altercation - Chonburi

At 8:30 PM on December 10th, 2024, police in Sattahip, Chonburi, were alerted to a fatal stabbing outside a local grocery store. A 14-year-old Thai-Australian boy was found lying in a pool of blood on the store’s steps, with a knife lodged in his back.

The knife’s broken handle was discovered nearby. The victim’s distraught mother and sister stood at the scene in shock and disbelief.

Initial investigations revealed that the victim had recently been in a dispute with a schoolmate. The two, both minors, reportedly arranged to settle their conflict, which escalated into violence.

The suspect, also 14 and a senior at the same school, allegedly followed the victim to the store, stabbing him once in the back before fleeing on a motorcycle. The victim collapsed and succumbed to his injuries despite attempts to seek help.

An hour later, police quickly tracked the suspect to his home, located just 400 meters from the crime scene. He was taken into custody along with his parents. Both the victim’s and the suspect’s names have been withheld due to their status as minors.

Evidence, including the broken knife blade and the suspect’s motorcycle, were collected for further investigation.

The victim’s body has been sent to a forensic institute in Bangkok for an autopsy. The suspect will face legal proceedings in juvenile court, with a multidisciplinary team involved in the investigation.

Exactly 7 months ago in Pattaya.

All these thais who lost a fight to an opponent, come back with a knife and attack the opponent and didn't "lose his face" ...

They attack in a crowd to beat up one foreigner.

Then you ask "why aren't you friends with thai men?"

A 16 year old loses a fight to a 12 year old.

Goes away and comes back with a knife and stabs another (much smaller) 12 year old that the fight was originally with.

Just like the Thai that lost a fight to an Iranian in a night club, then came back with his gun and shot him dead said, he lost the fight publicly so had to come back with a weapon to win.

So many Thais simply cannot accept losing, especially to someone smaller, younger or foreign. Even if it ends up costing them their life, they either cannot compute that with their raging shattered ego, or knowingly rather risk dying a physical death than a social one.

A wounded Thai is a very dangerous animal.

I so want to like this site, but every time I come back, I'm immediately met by the dumbest comments I see anywhere on the internet.

Animals don't have knives because God gave them fangs, claws, stingers, venom, and they use these weapons to cruelly and bloodily kill other animals millions of time each day.

And then some leftist has to try to claim that animals are more noble and virtuous then people because animals don't have knives.  It takes a truly astounding level of stupidity make such a ridiculous claim.

Ah, the left's typical response when confronted with the reality of facts:  "shut up."  My shutting up would not make you any smarter, comrade.
