Aus Partner Visa - Police Check?

Hi All,

I am in the process of lodging a spouse visa for my wife to migrate to Australia.

She lives in a small village about 2 hours from Udon Thani, so it is not an easy process to get her to Bangkok.

I will be flying over soon (via Bangkok).

We need to apply for the police background check in Bangkok, I was wondering if I am able to do this on my wifes behalf? I understand the process takes 3 business days?

Any help is most appreciated.

The Special Branch Police at Police HQ Bangkok need to photograph her and take her fingerprints. You will have to wait around 2 weeks.

As Dr Pat said, your wife will need to attend personally.
