A group of doctors, known as The Brain Docs, has urged people to start including at least one food into their diet that's often "overlooked" – and it could help boost your brain health and lower the risk of depression.

 

What foods are high in fibre?

Because of this, you should eat more:

  • leafy greens
  • broccoli
  • asparagus
  • onions
  • garlic
  • leek
  • banana
  • seeds
  • nuts
  • oats
  • lentils
  • beans
  • barley
