Dogs are sly, crafty carnivores and love attacking anything they think they can get away with, especially babies and small kids

Yes, some dogs. But the 99% are loyal, family animals that have saved many lives and are a service to many blind and disabled worldwide. Can't take one side as there is two.

4 pitbulls ... she's lucky to be alive.  darn pitbulls at it again.

  • A variation on no bad dogs only bad owners nonsense. These dogs were bred for violence, it cannot be trained out of them, they are a no more fit to be around people than a crocodile.

  • The dog must be put down, it represents a danger to humans, young & old.   People should not be allowed to breed dogs with violent behavioural problems.

If that made any intelligible sense, I'd comment on it, I'm sure.

It isn't nonsense. They were originally bred to hard cattle, sheep and to protect people. Some breed them to fight other dogs. That's wrong, as is having them around if they aren't properly trained. This means all dogs. I've had a Rottweiler around my house 7 years. he attacks other dogs that come near the females that live around here, but he's been taught by me to be good to the others, and he's never been aggressive to people. The only problem with Pitts, Rottweilers, Shepherds, Huskies and Dobermans is that if they aren't taught respect for people as pups, they can cause more damage than all the other breeds.

Yet another attack !!!  Lack of training !!!   RUBBISH!!!!!!    It's inherrent in the breed and they all need medicine:- a lead pill.

The only thing that's true is that if they aren't trained, they can cause a lot of damage, being very strong and built. Some just aren't aware of the facts...............https://www.thehumanesociety.org/debunking-pit-bull-myths/

I have not eaten any animals for 53 years, how about you?

Good for you. Me for over 60 years. I therefore assume your description of somebody's dog as 'a stinking yapping mutt who would have your stick on his head' is not an apposite reflection of your normal attitude to dogs, or other animals.

This is more or less the final word on breed or training

I’m of the opinion that a dog that attacks someone other than a burglar causing actual bodily harm should be put down before it does it again.
