Another earth shattering topic from you as usual, Susan.   What's next? "How much bottled water do you buy when you go to Makro?"

  • save the frogs
    save the frogs

An "old hand" bragging that he's seen it all? And you know Thais and Thai culture better than anyone?  And they get you. And you get them.

  • 1430 islands. And Harrisfan has seen them all.

Phayam

Never seen phosphorescence in the water there.

This the eagles that everyone describe are in all likelihoods bhraminy kites the eagles are far more rare although they definitely exist in the Andaman. See the most on lipe

Yeah there's lots of really nice nature on Phayam my last trip there was 2009. It started to get really backpackerish and I was done with it

👍

Islands are over rated, restricted what you can do, better to go to mainland coastline

How many things do you day in a day?

You make 200 redundant posts per day that nobody needs because you have nothing else or better to do. That's your 200 things, everyday.

Koh Mook, LOL...I have some terrible memories of my one visit to that awful island. Like yourself we couldn't get away fast enough. The resort we stayed at they turned the fridge off, no cold beer, no ice, they had next to stuff all to eat, just rice and some fried fish. We went for a walk along a jungle track and a local man pulled his tool out and was shaking it at my Thai wife...LOL That was Koh Mook.

Yeah, I was stuck there for a week!! It felt like 3 months. Terrible accommodation.

It felt like a prison. I actually went there to see if I could live there. What a mistake.

I didn’t see the guy shaking his tool, but you can’t blame him if he was a local, there isn’t anything else to do there.

Bit small to live there. Emerald Cave is the highlight. Kradan has nicer beaches but nothing to do.

The highlight was leaving.
I tried to find better accommodation but what I found was worse.
It was extremely hot when I was there also which probably made it worse than what it usually was.

Does anyone buy that over here?

It should be made illegal and bum guns made compulsory under building reg's throughout the world

You use your underwear to dry yourself?

Koh Larn is pretty cool apart from all the pigs at the rubbish dump.

And the southern end of Pattaya beach has a lot of naked Thai women dancing which is nice, no other beach in Thailand has that anymore.
it is lovely.

Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta.

There was a 2 metre crocodile in the water at Koh Phi Phi.

Many more options than you've had to date. There's even 3 go kart circuits. 2-3 water parks, I haven't been but tourists must go.

One of the best things about Pattaya is not far from other good places, so for me the cycling is excellent, within 50km, golf many many golf courses. There's even fishing lakes

Go Karts and water parks are for kids. Most people don't play golf.

He hasn't been to any of them. Only looks at pictures of islands on the internet from his mum's basement.

I've been to Ko Kret and Phra Pradaeng.🤔

The point is there's lots available to do, if you had interests other than the beach you could investigate

Sure if people like golf Pattaya might suit but Phuket and Hua Hin have golf.

Yah, but they're 48 years old and look like my girlfriend's grandmother.

On a rough day.

The beach is pretty good also.

you can get a chair, seafood, other food, cold beer and even not so fresh women brought to you and an umbrella.
