Early extension

Featured Replies

My yearly extension is due in Khon Kaen on the 12th of September,
Can anyone please tell me what is the earliest date that I can renew?

30 days ahead is always accepted without reasons provided.

I am due at KK on Oct 30 and will go as soon as I have done the 12th monthly transfer and have the bank papers. Oct 7 likely.

For you Aug 14 is OK.

From posts here it seems acceptable to be 45 days early with some good reasons provided.

Can't tell from experience.

When was your last visit to the office. You know they moved out quite far.

30 days prior to expiry.

It's not unheard of for immigration to process earlier.

You would need good reason (story)

and perhaps flight confirmation etc.

Is 30 days sufficient?

Thanks for the replies.
The reason I want to go early is that I am starting radiation therapy, maybe mid-August and the doctor has told me that it will make me feel pretty bad, So, ideally, I want to get the extension before I start the therapy.
Hopefully, the 14th of August will be ok, or they would probably accept that I have good reason if I need to do it a bit earlier,

My under the counter agent in Pattaya has told me 90 days before expiry

I am heading up soon to start the extension as i need to be back in Aus riggt when it would expire in September

Nothing under the counter about it; it is quite overt.

Maneerat did mine 3 months early because I was in a similar situation.
