That has been evident for decades.

Unfortunately yes, but so far the real people in power were profiting from him. As soon as that stops, he becomes useless to them.

Nato Expansion.png

There is a reason no one wants to align with Russia.  Who are the Russians allied with?   Iran, North Korea?  Maybe China.

Sweden and Finland probably joined because of the ukraine invasion. Does that invalidate the fact that Nato has been expanding towards russian borders for 72 years? Nato pushed russia into this war by continuously expanding over the last 3/4ths of a century and now wants to cry victim because russia doesn't want them right on their doorstep in ukraine.

No one liked the former Soviet Union or the current, albeit somewhat altered, Soviet Union known as Russia.  NATO exists because the USSR/Russia is evil.

Isn't there something wrong with that map. Doesn't include the US or Canada.

So, democratic and independent nations making decisions about the future of their countries.

And?

And in 1997 there was Glasnost, and un der Gorbachev and Yeltsin Russia was moving toward trade wars rather than military wars. The came Putin who reversed all of that, so the countries bordering Russia felt rightly threatened and sought defensive support.

The fallacy in this argument is that if Russia had been succesful in invading Ukraine they would have been hard up against the NATO boundery with Poland. Poland/Ukraine, what is the difference? The argument is just an excuse to try and justify Russia's imperial expansion.

And why have all these former USSR client states flocked to join NATO? Because they know Putin has imperialist ambitions.

Exactly then they would have wanted yet another buffer. Also don't forget prior to break up of Soviet Russia and the Eastern Block there were Nato countries that had land borders with Russia and one with a sea border.

If only some western leaders spoke with the statesmanship of Putin.

Care to elaborate on that thought?

The West have NO interest in statesmanship.  All they care about is their western terrorist agenda on behalf of their Zionist rulers.

Putin's country has a little bit of history with jewish influence and. lets just say it didn't go so well.  Hence his total rejection of Zionist influence.

The west are puppets.  Putin is a LEADER.

I agree with half of what you're saying. I do agree about the Western puppets and some of that, but Putin is not a leader. Putin is a despot, he's a dictator, he's a super freak, he's a genocidal serial killer. He's a thieving billionaire oligarch, and he's a piece of crap lowlife. He is anything but a leader, unless you support the whole strongman junk theory.

Putin is a child killer who should be given the option of flying out of a window or snorting a line of Pollonium, and if he's such a great leader maybe you want to follow him.

It would be nice if everyone would take a few steps back and stop pushing each other’s buttons and feeding the war machine. If the West would just stay on the west side of the line, then maybe things would cool down.

The US is East of Russia. Any way it is Russian crossing the demarcation line. Russia doesn't like the fact the countries that it used to bully grew some balls and effed off out of the Warsaw Pact.

Putin is a dictator and not any sort of "leader of men".

None of them have. None of could tell you the morphological differences between Old Slavonic and Ukrainian, nor have a conversation about the Hetmanate, nor trace the ever fluctuating borders of the "Ukraine". You could give them a ready list and they will spout nonsense from their Ukrainian prop outlets in return.

"Kier Starmer the shortest PM in history". Well that accolade goes to Liz Truss but it was still a dumb stupid idea. He is still here unfortunately.

No. And I do not feel compelled to visit. I've been told that it's a fascinating place, and there are obviously a lot of very sharp minds there. The historic culture is undeniable, but my reference was to Russia's contributions in the last 70 years, and the general disposition of the average Russian today.

It is amazing.  It also is extremely nationalistic and, with the west constantly calling them 'dangers', why would they contribute to the west at all.  They have contributed things to places it suits them...

I just laugh at all the uneducated keyboard experts calling Putin every name under the sun.  Im not saying he is an angel, but he is WAAAAAAY better than ANY of the crap the US has put forward in the last 50 years.

Well, as a high profile example, they spent billions building a gas pipeline direct to Germany so they wouldnt get screwed by Ukraine and its Western loony backers... That didn't go so well when Biden the spastic ordered it blew up.

You can hate on them.  You are told to.  But the truth is they are not the boogyman... The US and its Zionist rulers are all that's evil in this world.
