I went with my friend recently to JIB at Tukcom and I was surprised he got a decent deal(16K down from 18K) for a Lenovo 15.6 inch Ryzen 7 512NVMe 16GB 1.62Kg laptop w/Office and 2 yr. warranty.

I'm tempted to buy the same model for myself as mine is long gone. However, I would like backlight and fingerprint sensor these features really make my life much easier. I could buy from Amazon for about 20K but it's a little risky I'd prefer to buy here in Thailand.

Any ideas?

Send them this in a message, along with what else you're looking for.

If you want a Lenovo, you should order directly from Lenovo TH website (unless there are promotions with the "bricks and mortar").

On the Lenovo website you can compare, choose AND customize your computer,

It takes a week to get it delivered.

It's not easy looking for exact specs you want in thailand.

I suggest narrow it down on amazon US and then try to find it locally via shop or manufacturer. (easy to find specs and models on amazon)

Or as mentioned above just send specs you want to a big enough shop here and maybe they can find it.

I was a Toshiba fan. But recently most manufacturers do a good job. I got an Asus couple of years ago for 25k which was kind of top of the range. Hasn’t missed a beat. The guy then took me downstairs (big shopping mall) and loaded all sorts of software for 500. I mean everything I needed. Very happy overall.

Yes this is one big advantage of buying computers in Thailand the customer service is excellent and we get all the software we need. I had a computer shop in Pattaya build me a Desktop they did an excellent job except it was a unregistered Windows which didn't update nor could I run all the software I wanted to load, including Brave Browser.

This surprised me but not to be deterred I took the PC to Pattaya Tukcom and for either 500 or 1k they loaded a perfectly capable Windows and the PC has run great ever since.

Dell ordered from amazon UK or reputable Dell authorized vendor in Thailand (definetly not lazada or shopee).... everything else is 2nd best.

If you think of buying from Amazon US just remember to double check the voltage is compatible with Thailand (US is 110V-120V)
