The gunman, identified as Noi, a 60-year-old former vendor, reportedly had a history of conflicts with market security personnel. The attack unfolded at 12:31 pm on Monday in Chatuchak district, leaving the capital in shock. Among the deceased were four security guards, a female vendor, and the gunman himself, who is believed to have committed suicide at the scene. Three others sustained injuries.
