Quick. Whats your Earwig?

Featured Replies

Do you have one burrowing in your head? Endlessly on loop? Which one?

Here I will share mine

I dont listen to music anymore because thats what it does to me, just on repeat in my head. Pop music is the most annoying, makes me want to die

Hope this sticks in there for a long time…

Thought it was ear-worm?

An earworm is a catchy piece of music—usually a short fragment like a chorus or refrain—that gets stuck in your head and repeats involuntarily. It’s a form of involuntary musical imagery (INMI) and is experienced by about 98% of people at some point

Delta Lady is a pretty good one.

I tend to have frequent changeover, short term ear worms so it isn't bad although it is strange to me as I never used to have.

A bad one I had: I ate breakfast at an American menu restaurant on Suhumvit that played old school Country and Western music, I got a Randy Travis earmworm, man that was agony.

Sometimes a song you don't like is catchy, yikes, it was hard to get rid of.

I think I got a method now just start playing lots of different songs on Spotify until you get a new and better ear worm.

You sound like an 'angry guy'. :biggrin:

the advertising jingle / theme song on the speakers at Big C. Just about the time i get the worm out of my ear, I pop into my local Mini Big C to buy something -- and there it is again. I'm surprised more of the employees haven't gone crazy listening to that all day.

"Jerusalem" pronounces 'Fire' with one syllable, as well as offering a solution to the Palestinian problem.

And a far greater and more relvant song about Chariots, than Swing Low, in my opinion.

It is amazing how quick it can strike.

I was watching a panel show and there was a joke about Andy Williams music being used to torment prisoners.

The panelist sang a few bars of a song and now I have "I Can't Get Used to Losing You" as an earworm.
