I literally couldn't think of anything worse, can just imagine everyone arriving (with their 'partner' of course) in a pair of slacks and a marks and spencers cardigan, sipping tonic water and discussing how much money they spend every month and how they haven't been to a bar for 20 years.

I think it'd be a little different.

Most arriving on their disability scooters, moaning, whinging and whining about Thailand, drinking their beer Chang, getting drunk and dancing in the street. Then once the party is finished, hoping back on their disability scooters, tearing up the streets, heading home on the darkside, crossing the train tracks at speed, road raging other motorists.

I saw a foreigner the other day on his disability scooter, riding down soi Buakhou, up the footpath, into the 7eleven, at the cashier making Chang beer payment, then at speed back up soi Buakhou. I reckon he'll be at the party

When i was a kid there was a nutter in our street in liverpool called Dave Harris,  a skinhead, and the first guy I ever saw  with a tattoo on his face, on his forehead to be precise  "LFC"    he did it himself with a mirror, lol,  he was not the sharpest pencil in the box , so you can imagine how it turned out, nobody dared tell him though and I guess every time he looked in the mirror he was pleased with his efforts  eventually he grew a fringe , I always wonder what became of him

It's a good story at least, what school did he go to.?

He'll definitely be there if it's free food.

Perhaps you will be better by December Lou.?

Neither you, nor anyone else, will ever know as the daft proposed "bash" will never happen.

What a ridiculous Christmas obsession Westerners have! I'm not religious and I'm just amused by the stress some people put themselves through in December!:coffee1:

As ASEAN NOW is utterly obsessed with Pattaya I woult bet 100,000 THB that it would be there

Well as Pattaya probably has the largest AN grouping it can't be too much of a surprise.  Don't see even Bangkok. Udon or Buriram having more.

That is so sad. The place is full of pond life farang and <deleted> prostitutes. More Western than most places in Europe.

I was leaving Bangkok Bank Jomtein on my MC, I had one of these guys ahead of me at the first u-turn, he sped across and continued up 2nd road against traffic. That was a head shaker.

These foreigners riding dangerously on disability scooters are everywhere here in Pattaya 😡

This Swiss guy thought it was a good idea to outrun an SUV 😂

I remember that one. Cringeworthy. So dangerous.

I hope this Swiss guy has recovered and can make it to the party.

I reckon he'd have some stories to tell. 😂
