Why is our world, everything we read, increasingly filled with G

Why is our world, meaning almost everything we read, increasingly filled with Gobbledygook?

Dear Folks,

Here is what I mean:

a.  Just first check out the Linkedin Site, and the JOB DESCRIPTIONS for almost every user.

You will see NOTHING BUT gobbledygook English, meaning and signifying NOTHING....

Do you agree?

How could you NOT agree.

b.  Then, go to almost any major and minor company MISSION STATEMENT....Please!!!!

What do you see???

Nothing but GOBBLEDYGOOK, aplenty?

c.  Why is this?

Have we forgotten how to state clearly...ANYTHING?

d.  This is NOT just a product of recent AI advancements.

No, this crazy Gobbledygook, seemingly required to impress investors, and simple-minded members of our population, is like a CANCER to the clear-minded brain.

e.  Has ANYONE, these days, heard of Mark Twain?

What might he have had to say about this craziness?

In fact, it seems to be the case that the more USELESS a company or an individual, then the more abstruse their Mission Statement or their Profile must be.

f.  Am I correct?

I could easily cough up so many examples.

But, not as many as you might have read in the recent year, so then why bother.

G.  Has clear English fallen by the wayside, already?

And, why is this?

This craziness is getting out of hand.

But, what do you imagine might be the cause of it?

Thankfully, here on TV, we do not need to put up with it.

And, also, we rarely see this pretentiousness on TV, according to my experience.

Best regards,

Gamma

Note:  Here are just a few minor infractions

The only Great one is from Hilton Hotels, which will Fill our Earth with Light and Warmth....

Who writes this garbage?

Back in the day, every Hilton Hotel had a Bible in the bedside table drawer.

At least, when you open the Bible, you get English from King James which is not total gibberish.

For example:  King James Bible concerning the Bottomless Pit....

Now HERE is a Mission Statement, to end all Mission Statements.

And, it's as clear as day.

Nobody, these days, wants to speak in clear English, much less major corporations.

What total Garbage!!!!

Yes.

And watch out for forked tongues on AN.

By the way, this evening, the local cats are yowling-up a storm.

Must be the season of the witch, back again, once more.

Which reminds me of this wonderful tune:

The cats around here, in this neighborhood, are mostly cute and quiet.

But, every few months, things get noisy around here......

We take the good with the bad.

And, the bad with the good little red riding hood.
