BANGKOK - In a bold statement, the Pheu Thai Party quashed rumours about backing former Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha for their top seat, branding the speculation as mere gossip. Armed Robber Caught After Gold Shop Heist in Bang Bo

Police have arrested a 31-year-old man following a brazen armed robbery, with a gun, at a gold shop in Bang Bo district, Samut Prakan province. The suspect, identified as Mr. Weerawat “Arm”,  stole 49 gold necklaces  weighing a total of 123 baht (initially reported by the shop as 60 baht) and valued at over 6 million baht, before fleeing the scene on a black Honda motorcycle without a licence plate.
