Authorities successfully intercepted a Toyota Vigo pickup, registration from Tak and discovered 13 sacks of methamphetamine hidden in the vehicle’s cargo area, amounting to over 2,600,000 tablets. The driver was arrested on the spot, while the two lead vehicles used to guide the convoy managed to flee.

The suspect has been charged with trafficking a Category 1 narcotic and possession with intent to distribute, offences deemed dangerous to public safety and national security.

Police confirmed that the suspect and the seized drugs have been handed over to Thap Than Police Station for further legal proceedings, and investigations are ongoing to dismantle the wider trafficking network.
