This was confirmed to me yesterday, when one Government department contacts another one.
If correspondence is not replied to, then a reminder is sent after 15 days, then another reminder after a further fifteen days.
Finally after 45 days then this correspondence is escalated to the Governor.
In America they have an expression for this, three strikes and you are out, here in Thailand it seems after three strikes you are still smiling.

You are however, right about one thing, John. In the USA "Three strikes and you're out" (an old baseball expression from the 19th century) is definitely true.

I'm glad to have left that benighted country a long time ago... a move I've never regretted.

Here I can strike as often as I please and end up "...still smiling."
