I guess the world will never forget the day Arnold Schwarzenegger gave birth to a fine, healthy baby girl.

 

At the time, I thought the world was not ready for such shenanigans.

 

Recently, I have read that Sam Altman has given birth, and I just wonder how that works?

 

For example, I guess we have all studied a bit of genetics and human anatomy.  And I find it puzzling how Sam and his wife gave birth, since both Sam and his wife are biologically male.

 

Was there some cloning involved, maybe?

 

So then, maybe Sam contributed some genetic info from his haploid cells, and his partner made up the difference from HIS haploid cells. And then what?

 

Yes, Folks, reality is becoming ever stranger than fiction in this New Brave World in which we live.

 

Also, it seems that Sammy has now seen the light concerning what it might mean to be human, or at least he talks about this in one of the interviews I found here:

 

 

Still, Arnold’s birth-video is far more fun to watch.

 

And, we can also sit and wonder what this might mean for the World of AI, especially at OpenAI, after this momentous occasion.

 

There is nothing quite so miraculous as being able to pass down one’s genes to the next generation. And, I guess, in some cases this becomes a real POWER TRIP.

 

So, how do you think this happened?

 

And, will this change our world?

 

This is just one more reason why I love Musk:  He has no qualms about having babies the traditional way.

We already have the technology to try this.
