Yes, you posted at least nine totally irrelevant and off topic posts. Give yourself a pat on the back. The forum owners thank you for your efforts to boost forum traffic, albeit by being totally irrelevant and off topic.

The process of transiting would be the same at all airports .

Examples of transiting Chiang Rai would be the same as transiting Udon Thani as they both arrive first in Bangkok  .

Transiting at other airports isn't derailing the thread as same rules apply .

So, it is indeed relevant to the thread

I'm not sure that's the case as explained in the ANA link in the previous page and as indicated by these signs at Suvarnabhumi.  Note - no Udon Thani.

I believe (not 100% sure) this is because Udon Thani doesn't have customs facilities now it has no international flights (although Chiang Rai appears to have kept their's open).  Immigration check is done in BKK transit.

Udon Thani would be on the left on a  different sign .

I think it depends on wether the ultimate destination has an immigration desk - I know Chiang Rai does, so you merely transit through Suvarnibhumi. Of course it will depend if luggage is checked through as well.

You clear immigration in transit. I did that once on my way to Chiang Mai.

1) No I most certainly will not post photographs of pages of my passport on a public forum.

2) Air Asia advertise non stop flights to and from Kuala Lumpur. That is pretty international.

3) I have flown on Air Asia to Kuala Lumpur to from there, both direct and via Don Muang.

4) The Terminal is well equipped with signs indicating International Arrivals and Departures.

5) The name of the airport also offers a bit of a clue -"Chiang Rai International Airport or Mae Fah Luang International Airport (CEI). "

That last was cut and pasted from the Airport's website.

You ONLY clear immigration at the arrival airport if your flight has arrived from abroad. If you're on a CONNECTING flight, you clear immigration in Bangkok.
