Police have arrested a 23-year-old Russian man, Mr Georgii, suspected of engaging in a sexual act at the rear of a black pickup truck. The arrest took place at Suvarnabhumi Airport on 25 September 2025 at 15:45 and the suspect was taken back to Phuket for further legal proceedings.

A 24-year-old man was rescued after his kayak capsized in rough seas off Pattaya on the night of 25 September.
