There is no doubt at all that on the strength of American infantry, NATO would be superior in conventional warfare on the battlefield.

 

However, if the US engaged Russia using conventional weapons like infantry, and Russia were losing the engagement there is no doubt that Russia would use nuclear weapons and the world would end as we know it.

 

Which is why Biden and Trump are so careful not to put boots on the ground in Ukraine.

 

And which is why it is such a bad idea to engage Russia with conventional warfare.

 

Even if NATO wins, NATO will still lose.

'losing the engagement ' and 'being conquered by NATO ' are not the same.

Let's say NATO employs troops in Ukraine and pushes back Russia to its borders. That's not 'being conquered by NATO ', and Russians won't feel it that way.
