A shocking discovery in Nonthaburi emerged on 30 September 2025 after a man retrieved his lost mobile phone and found disturbing images of skeletal human remains inside a derelict building. The phone, initially picked up by a homeless person, was later returned, revealing photographs that prompted urgent calls for an investigation. Rescue teams later confirmed the presence of a body at the scene.

The case came to light when Facebook user “Kung Nattapon Kff”reported losing his mobile in the early hours opposite the entrance to Soi Chaeng Watthana 14. After making contact by calling his phone, he arranged to meet the finder outside a 7-Eleven near City Resort, where he recovered the phone from a man who appeared mentally unstable. Upon returning home and reviewing the device, he discovered disturbing images of a skeleton inside an abandoned building.

Nattapon requested help from police or rescue teams to verify the situation at the location provided. Kan and Ruamkatanyu Foundation volunteers inspected the building in Nonthaburi where they discovered the skeletal remains. The body was unclothed, lying with both legs spread, raising concerns about the circumstances of the death. Authorities conducted formal forensic checks to try to establish the cause of death and identity.

The latest report stated that officials have confirmed that the human skeleton belonged to a 55-year-old man from Lampang. Authorities have contacted his relatives, who revealed that the deceased had left his home in Chiang Mai several years ago, saying he was coming to work in Bangkok, before losing contact with the family for more than a year. Investigation into the cause of death is ongoing.

When smart phones first came out I often wondered why they were called SMART phones but now I know they can solve murders. How good is that ???
