When you look at a map and see just how small Israel is compared to the countries around it that are Islamic, it is essential for them to put defence as a very high priority.

On a side note I assume most of the people who are going on about Hamas is a good guy in it all have no idea about the religion that Hamas is trying to spread.

I disagree. Israel is a Democracy. Netanyahu is the longest serving PM.

I consider all countries should be secular.  There should be an impenetrable wall between church and state.

 

I think Islam is a particularly odious religion, spreading hate and inequality, but Israel should equally be secular, it’s currently apartheid and that kind of thing inevitably happens when government is not secular.

Israel would I am surer be happy not to have the threat of Hamas on their doorstep 24 hours a day. Unfortunately, Hamas has the ideology that everyone who is not a Muslim is to be enslaved of removed from the world.
