Sadly the trolls will regroup and find something else to whine about. I call it the Greta syndrome. Incurable.

I don't undestand how anyone can support Israel. They are clearly the guilty party, effecting mass immigration and taking land, then creating a Frankenstein state that is committing genocide as we speak and killing 15000 children.

I really don't get how anyone can support Israel, given how Israel has behaved.

Are you the person who supports Russia? Based on this post, you should dislike Russia.

Your facts arent.

Very few people here "support" Russia. Opposing the war in Ukraine and looking at the historical background does not mean the one "supports" Russia.

The historical background reveals that the USSR oppressed the people of Ukraine, and they had no interest in Russia after the USSR's collapse.   Ukraine is an independent nation recognized by the rest of the world, and Putin wants the USSR back.

What is your version of the historical background?

Why are so many people pro-Israel?

I just don't understand it.

Different and a lot farther back in history than yours, but its off topic.

I support Israel based on recent events. I'll support anyone who responds to having 1200 of their young people murdered and more taken hostage simply attending a music concert.

I have no love of Israelis or Jews for that matter but I have less for murdering bastards.

Israel was not occupying Gaza, nor attacking nor effecting mass immigration (sic). On the contrary, it was Gaza that  launched regular missile attacks at Israel and that  started a war. Gaza had an unsustainable  population growth and health issues like heart disease, kidney disease and diabetes associated with wealthy societies. Gaza had  more than enough resources to build a wel armed military, missiles and rockets and an extensive reinforced tunnel and bunker system using concrete and  rebar that it claimed Israel was limiting. It was Gaza that repurposed water piping for its military missiles and tunnels leaving its water piping system  vulnerable. it was Gaza that used electronic  material to build weapons instead of infrastructure. It was Gaza that trained children from Kindergarten to dream of martyrdom and to learn to count by  counting dead jews.

Had Gaza done this to a muslim country, no one would have been left alive.

Well, I understand that. I recently saw some scenes from Oct 7th and it was pure evil. I almost became pro Israel myself.

Condemnation of those who perpetrated Oct 7th is not enough though. This event did not happen in a vaccum, there are years of crimes and suffering that precede it. This does not excuse Oct 7th in any way, but the killers clearly thought what they were doing was righteous and good. So this raises interesting moral issues.

I was rather shocked that the Oct 7 videos showed that Israel had built a literal wall to imprison those who live in Gaza . There is clearly a blockade of Gaza in place, and it was was in place before Oct 7.

Of course some acts that residents of Gaza pepetrated are evil for those of us who are neither jewish or muslim, there is no question about it. And even the theft of land, killing of women and children, which the IDF engaged in prior to Oct 7, all the injustices Israel has inflicted on Gaza, none of it can excuse what was done on Oct  7. But it does explain it, sadly.

However, when one looks at the settlers, their primitive stone-age religious views, it is extremely hard to have sympathy for Israel. Not just because of the land they steal and how they harras the local Palestinians, but because of who they are, what they believe. It is truly repulsive. For those of us, like I say who are not Jewish. I realise of course that morality is perspective.

No, it doesn't. There is no morality in what occured, unless you subscribe to that thing about sins of the father's etc.

It was plain hatred and murder of young people. And the Palestinians have paid for it. It sickened me seeing Muslims in Australia celebrating on that day two years ago.

The Jews killed more than 1,200 Palestinians before that and held thousands of hostages in their jails before October 7.

Morality includes posting on peoples personal Facebook page showing them being murdered in real time?

Not really. They are simply following their beliefs. Look out brother, there is a Jew behind you, smite him in the neck. Prehistoric barbarians.

The funny part of all if this is the Muslims see us the same way as they see the Jews. Infidels.

But they allow us to live, as long as we pay taxes to them.

Halal food anyone?

Look at your next purchase closely. It may say halal approved. To get that approval money is paid to some self appointed Muslim organisation.

    Its Israel's border .

Israel can enforce its borders as necessary .

How is it possible to be shocked by a border wall ?

How did you feel when you saw the border wall between North and South Korea ?

   Extremely shocked ?

It's not the mere fact there is a wall. But that this wall effectively imprisoned Palestinians in a small, run down piece of land, which makes it so shocking.

Post Apartheid what country imprisons its own population in Ghettos like this?

Hopefully in twenty years the rich and famous will be holidaying in a beautiful part of the Mediterranean and everyone has forgot about the present problems. I bet the average Palestinian will hope so.

Hopefully there will be a regime change in Iran during that time also and the Iranian people can throw off the shackles of the mediaeval they currently  live under.

Many Arabs and Palestinians worked in Israel and came and went freely.

Then you would be shocked to see the wall Egypt built to keep the Palestinians out. Trump would be impressed.
