basically for me it comes down to the "destruction totally of one's life" same as drug pushers they destroy lives too.  People can be analyzed by the "experts" but actually cleaning out the minds of those affected can never be accomplished IMHO.  the victims may seem to be living out their lives after the crimes against them but I do not believe they are free from the memories and side effects of the crimes.
