I can beat that. I see evidence of Farangs that come to Thailand and spend most of their day playing on the computer or cell phone. Forums, trolling, surfing, chatting, arguing, insulting, etc., What'

To be fair, fast food is much better here than it is back in the west. The french fries are always very hot. The meat seems a little nicer too. The service is a magnitude better.

Also, back in the west, fast food often means being surrounded by poverty types. Not so here.

Relatedly, I live near a street with three British pubs on it. The Thai food they serve is as good as a very good Thai restaurant.

True that...

The Last McD's I had was in the UK with my Son - on our way to a Sporting event in the City, so it fit our purpose to grab a quite bite....   Mistake - it was cardboard !!...  The McDonalds we've had previously on Road-trips in Thailand (again, just filling a gap) was much better...

The once or twice a year I may have a McD's or KFC, they do their job - & I agree with BritMan that the Zinger Burger is better than McD's...  then again BurgerKing is better than the lot...   When in a rush and wanting a quick-fix - it does the Job - just like a 7-11 toastie does...

Thailand doesn't do sandwiches well, otherwise, the sandwiches at service stations in the UK (i.e. Costa etc) are better...

But its all fairly crap - but were not supposed to be comparing this to a 'proper meal' its fast food for a reason.

Hardly enough to keep you going until lunch time's Big Mac.

I don't eat any fast food besides the McMuffin, and it's not really fast food as it's something you can make yourself at home. Lunch time while I'm hunting, fishing or on the road between is usually a sushi tray or a sub sandwich.

A lot of farangs who habitually eat at McDonald’s are generally plump and round...

... there I fixed it for you...

Because on the rare occasions I go into McD's or a fast food restaurant - I don't notice that... and neither do you - you are just making an assumption based on 'fast food' being less healthy.

So you are saying that anything you make at home, burger, pizza, egg muffin (on a sugary bread roll)  etc does not count as fast food?

Sushi is cold white rice with a few bits of raw fish in it. A Sub sandwich is only as healthy as the <deleted> you put in it.

What exactly do you eat when NOT killing animals and fish.

An absolute loser. A tosser of the highest order. A plonker, the likes of which the world has never seen before. You truly wouldn't want to know him. Nothing to see here. Carry on...

No you didn’t fix anything except your weak ego, and with that you obviously are in it just for a lame argument searching and digging for a nitpick. As I stated…

I suppose you can read it over and over until blue in the face and still not comprehend

Anything you make at home CAN be healthy if you both know how and care. A muffin isn't loaded with sugar but many breads use sugar but not too much.

White rice isn't a problem unless you eat it all the time, and every meal like most do here.

Sushi is raw fish, which is healthy as long as it's prepared by someone following health laws.

Sub sandwiches can be very healthy, and that's how I ask them to be made. Turkey, chicken, roast beef, with veggies, italian dressing or mustard.

Besides the meat and fish I eat, I also eat grains, breads, pasta, rice, potatoes, squash, veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, yogurt, popcorn, pretzels, cereals, sugar free jellies, eggs, kimchi, and drink tea, coffee, and water with enhanced flavors.

He'll be munching on a raw deer's leg or a wild boar's ear or some such until getting back to civilisation for a Big Mac and large fries.

No, I'll first cook those  legs before I eat them, and I don't eat fast food besides what I mentioned. I haven't had a Big Mac in probably 45 years + and the only fries I eat are those I make myself. Forget about ears, as I haven't converted to Thai.

Eric.

I am nothing like any of those things you posted, I have also lived here for a very long time, and I do indulge in a big mac or two at times. :licklips:

Plus, it is none of your, or my business who eats what......:coffee1:

Oh, I eat very little Thai/Laos food, my stomach doesn't like it.......

Agree. Also, unless he has elephantiasis of the hand, it looks about 2 bites max (plus I would want more than the 6 fries pictured). Not great value even if it is 79 baht.

Same here except the popcorn, jellies (full of gelatin) kimchi and omit the ''enhanced'' flavours in my water. I make all my own juices and CBD oil.

Genius. You can snack on the sushi and bait your hook with it too.
