The swamp gets rich off of Trump upheaval

Some of Washington’s biggest lobbying firms raked in unprecedented amounts of cash last quarter. But it’s the upstart firms with ties to President Donald Trump or his administration that have been drowning in lobbying fees, lapping their more established rivals on K Street as Trump’s second term continues to scramble the hierarchy of the influence industry.

Got it. The Leftist/Socialist/Democrat lobbyists are losing money to folks that promote the interests of Americans so lobbying is bad.

You mean like these folks?

The firm also represents top targets of HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again movement, including pesticide companies and giant food conglomerates. It has signed up elite universities whose federal funding has been frozen, crypto firms looking for a light regulatory touch and defense companies seeking business.

Stupid is claiming that the part of Robert F. Kennedy's agenda which is overwhelmingly supported by Americans is somehow compatible with lobbying for pesticide companies and junk food companies.

Hre's what Robert Kennedy Jr. believes

'Agribusiness giant Monsanto has been ordered to pay $US289 million ($396 million) to a former school groundskeeper dying of cancer, with a San Francisco jury saying the company's popular Roundup weed killer contributed to his disease...

Mr Johnson's attorneys sought and won $US39 million in compensatory damages and $US250 million of the $US373 million they wanted in punitive damages.

"This jury found Monsanto acted with malice and oppression because they knew what they were doing was wrong and doing it with reckless disregard for human life," said Robert F Kennedy Jr, a member of Mr Johnson's legal team."

Wrong again.

What RFK Jr.’s MAHA Plan Says About Weed Killers

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. raised his concerns about widely used herbicides containing glyphosate and atrazine, linking them to chronic disease, in a Thursday report by the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission.

The report highlights two commonly used weed killers—glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, and atrazine, another widely used herbicide for weed control.

What did he say, or do you just allow others to think for you like all other Socialists.

For someone to be in denial about this means that they are either tremendously ignorant, willfully ignorant, or just plain dishonest. His remarks have been all over the place. And to deny that a report issued under his authority doesn't necessarily reflect his views is clearly desperate. At any rate, here's some of what he said in an extended interview with Joe Rogan. A bit before the first time stamp he specifically links glyphosate to non alcohol caused fatty liver cancers among other aillments.

As for glyphosate, here is link to to a transcript of his interview with joe rogan.

Below are timestamped portions of transcripts. That way you can check their accuracy by following this link to the actual interview:

  • 01:18:35 — “And there are structures in your gut biome … which are destroyed by glyphosate.” PodScripts+1

  • 01:19:29 — He explains the origin of glyphosate and how it became used as a herbicide. PodScripts+1

  • 01:20:21 — Discussion of the development of “Roundup Ready” crops and the aerial spraying of glyphosate. PodScripts+1

  • 01:21:49 — “…you could see the increase in celiac diseases … when they started spraying it directly on food.” (refers to glyphosate) PodScripts+1

So, give up already. Your objections are ridiculous.
