I have tried to list an item for sale through ebay.com but have difficulty setting up the shipping section, which only seems to reflect what might be available in the USA. Is there a workaround?

Having had several back and forths with eBay it now appears one of the obstacles for those registered with the .com site who live outside the USA, is that eBay have now restricted sales into the US from abroad to a maximium of USD500 without having to go through massive hoops. 

 

This is as a result of the US tariff policy:

To ensure a good shopping experience for U.S. buyers and maintain high-quality shipping performance, eBay will implement a new policy requirement for transactions that ship to the United States, effective August 27, 2025.

 

As part of these measures, the maximum listing value for items on eBay.com will be set at 500 USD. Recent tariff law updates highlight that items valued at over 500 USD are considered high-risk and may lead to losses due to customs declarations and formal entry requirements into the US.
