I'm looking to employ a maid, I live in a small townshouse on the outskirts of BKK.

When I look to ty and hire a Ma Baan and ask for prices I get vague answers and vague answers as to how often they come.

 

Can anyone explain how it woks and how muh to pay ?

I think mayhap you should avoid using the Thai language until you can brush up on some basics. 

 

If you are calling candidates Ma baan to their faces, it's pretty obvious why they aren't lining up to serve.

whats the correct pronunciation ? 'Ma Baan' is a rough transliteration of how I'd pronounce it .

Mae, may bahn is what I have successfully used for 27 years. She is still here but prefers head housekeeper. 😆
