Wanted Korean Arrested In Pattaya

Officers from the Chonburi Provincial Police Operation Center for Suppression Special Crime and Transnational Crime raided the

Modern Place Hotel Pattaya in the evening of 15th August when they were informed that a wanted Korean national was residing there.

They found Jang Goung Chae, aged 41 from South Korea, who has an arrest warrant from Petchburi province, after being arrested for drug related issues. Also authorities from South Korea contacted Thai authorities to inform that this man has drug related cases back in Korea as well.

An investigation was made and found that he was in Pattaya, and with the help of Pattaya Police, led by Superintendent Police Colonel Sutin Sappuang, he was captured.

In the next few days after questioning, he will be sent to Cha-Am Police Station in Petchburi province for further proceedings.
