Blessing For “jatookum” Produced To Help Citizens In The Troubled South Of Thailand

Khun Niran, the Mayor of Pattaya attended a short religious ceremony held at the Bali Hai Port at the South end of Pattaya Beach on Wednesday Morning which offered blessings to circular Buddhist images known in Thai as “Jatookum” which have been made from rocks and minerals collected from around Thailand.

This particular set of Jatookum will be sold and the proceeds will go to help residents of three Southern Provinces of Thailand caught up in the ongoing violence. The money will go to Yala, Naratiwat and Pattani Provinces. If you would like to purchase these Jatookum you can call 02-865 4227-30.
