Need seasonal farm workers, Expand H2A, make it simple and quick for farmers, enforce EVerify so the illegal pipeline dries up.This might have a chance once all the criminals are weeded out .

Don’t want terrorists, gang members, or people who’ll go straight on welfare? Actually run the background checks, enforce the laws already on the books, and deport the ones who break them.

Seems to be a little confusion with the extreme left while protecting foreign nationals  who have committed crime while residing in country. Federal LE supersedes any local Uni policy in the USA in enforcing federal law.

The leftist posted a Marxist meme thinking it was a gotcha . There were no immigration laws back then, only open borders .There were no U.S. laws in 1620 because the USA didn’t exist yet. The people who did exist on the continent ,the Native tribes  had borders, sovereignty, trespass rules, and the right to decide who could settle where. Some tribes welcomed the Pilgrims temporarily, under strict conditions ,

others fought them tooth and nail. Either way, nobody got to just waltz in and claim permanent residence without the host nation’s consent. 

 

So the Marxist  meme actually proves the opposite of what the leftist intended, every society that has ever existed, from Wampanoag tribes to modern nation states, has enforced the principle of permission required.
