The "do good" Italians should have expected a little push back from the Jews as their country played an active role in the killing of innocent Jews during ww2. Maybe the Italians should consider other parts of the world to play where they do not have a history of antisemitism. 

I suggest you don’t drag up the history of who played an active part in the Holocaust.

There is no mention about Canadian/Italian civilians having been engaged in violence and hitting Israeli settlers.
