I understood recently from news reports in Thailand (or misunderstood?) that from 1st December, 2025 the 2 to 5pm ban on selling booze would be lifted for a 6 month trial.

Went into my 2 local major chain supermarkets yesterday (1st Dec) and noticed that the ban was still in place. Most disappointed, though not surprised. 

Anybody know what that's about? 

 

(PS: I was too peeved to bother asking the staff.)
