I know, I was just expanding on your point.

They will use any excuse to implement digital ID's (online safety for kids, controlling immigration etc.) and then use it to control and monitor the indigenous population.

Why would they like to monitor the Indigenous population?

  • Another authoritarian left wing nanny state trying to assume the role of parent to interfere in the upbringing of other people's children.

  • Totally 100%  disagree !  the internet should stay free especially from government interference,  parents should protect their own children.   But as I said before this is not about children

  • Strawman.   They are banning ALL social media content for under 16's. Not only inappropriate content. Some social media content is brilliant for children, YouTube for example has some wonder

Nothing.

But what they are doing is using that as an excuse to control the adults.

It's a ban on certain sites for children under 16.

How is that controlling adults.

Come back later after you finish that smoke. 🙂

Here is something to think about..how will they know if you are under or over 16 ?....by providing ID ??    when you provide ID  does the information contain  just date of birth   or something more ?

stay with me now it gets complicated here..once the government knows the identity of every user on every platform..because they have to provide ID to use the service   then the government can control everyone...  get it  ?????

I got it, you're way off the mark.

Facebook has started kicking kids off thru facial recognition.

No mention of digital ID.

You obviously don't get it,   facial recognition is every bit as bad.
