Do you know the difference between raw sugar and white sugar?

Or any sugars?

Yes  and we don't need any of them

  • Alcohol only gives you health problems if you buy it and drink it between 2-5 PM...

  • Only in Thailand... All over the world alcohol is consumed. For ages, but in Thailand everything is different and a reason to develop cancer.. It is not written that the air pollution is more dangerou

  • Sugar, which is all pervasive, is worse.

Then we die. Sugar is life.

Only since the "relaxing" of the permit to sell has this been posted - far worse things - drugs, sugar, cigarettes, salt etc

Let people live their lives as they see fit unless causes trouble

People who want to do whatever is their vice will do regardless of whatever

The whole world becoming a "nanny" place to live - let them be!

It are the things the Thai Government and army wants to control to make people afraid.. smoking no problem, but vaping ... dangerous. Alcohol be careful for cancer, the fermented fish ( palaa) is good.. although it is know it can cause livercancer

I LOVE fermented fish.

I like fermented fish on plane jasmine rice, in fact.

Just the smell of fermented fish gets my salivary juices flowing.

Here in Thailand, fermented fish is far more available than in most parts of the world.

Thanks for reminding me, because...

I think I will place an order for some fermented fish tomorrow.

It's far better to eat fermented fish, compared to drinking alcohol.

But, also, Leo beer is great with some fermented fish as a side dish.

Alcohol is carcinogenic, FOR SURE.

Head and Neck Cancer is terrible.

So, best for you to stop drinking, and just stick with the fish, as one better potential alternative, I think...maybe...

I would say that the majority of Thais are ignorant of the potential adverse health impacts of most things, from foods and drinks to household cleaning chemicals to consuming any medications, etc.

Thais live a far happier life, as a result.

They are the lucky ones.

While we are the unlucky ones.

What has changed over the last 4 years?

A sudden spike in cancers, defibrillators in public places, young people suddenly dropping dead from heart attacks and strokes.  Did Thais just discover alcohol? Is air and water pollution a new phenomenon in Thailand?  I don't know what it is, but something has changed since 2021.

This has been my observation RECENTLY, in recent years.

I know this is true.

This is hilarious!  Thank you.  I think your comment is the best I have seen this year.  Keep them coming.

Mixing alcohol with smoking creates over 5000 chemicals in the saliva and causes throat cancer.

But nothing said about the turbo cancers from the vaccine very much on the rise all over the world.

I think we should ban all those pesky chemicals. Especially dihydrogen monoxide and diatomic oxygen. They're associated with more than 99.99% of deaths!

Sugar is the new tobacco. They hide its content in food by using about 150 different names. Their lobby group behave like the tobacco giants back in the day. Evil. Criminal.

Indeed. Actual sugar from dates etc is alright, but that refined sh,ite that is in EVERYTHING is demonic. Folk should stop it all for couple months and see how they feel.

Thais are not taught about health and safety from alcohol, cigarettes, vaping, drugs etc....and that's only things they consume, nevermind other things in daily life, driving, working etc...totaly naive...and worse still, don't want to learn, ask any foreigner who has tried to explain to a thai.

A really good example of this is the food vendors make available in hospitals! How about only white rice and breads, sweets, fried chicken. Guess they want repeat customers. Maybe I can get a loyalty card...

Thai beer is terrible anyway, full of chemicals, hangovers galore and the taste isn't great. Sure, you get used to it but as soon as you go overseas and drink beer then you realise just how bad it really is.
Same with those cheap spirits that they use marked "V" meaning vodka, "W" meaning whiskey etc that bars use to refill empty bottles of well known brands!

It's like they added beer-flavoring to a tasteless carbonated alcohol drink.
