I visited the Phanom Rung temple in the Buriram province and leant about the story of a stolen lintel in the 1960s that ended up in a museum in Chicago U.S. 

 

I decided to do a 2 part series on this temple and highly recommend that you visit it sometime. If you dont want to walk up hundreds of steps enter via exit 3 gate. Its the rear entrance direct into the temple.
