Advise please,Im a UK resident married to a Thai lady for 1 year,we have 2 children both have UK passports,I want us all to go to the UK for a holliday. When I look at the visa aplication form for my wifes visa im puzzled by the children section which seems to suggest they need visas,I thought that as the kids have UK passports all we would have to do is turn up at the airport and get on a plane.Has anyone on here visited the UK with kids and could you advise. Many thanks.ps,new member 1st time on here.

If your kids have UK passports,of course they dont need UK visa.We registered the births in Thailand for our 2 boys and got them Thai passports aswell. When going uk-bkk show thai passport on arrival. When going bkk-uk show uk passport on arrival. No visa.

Do you know if my Thai wife has to declare on her visa application form that children are traveling with her,or can we just turn up at the airport with the kids and board.?Thanks for your last reply.

On the visitor visa, apply as a familly visit, mention the two children are travelling, but do not need a visa. The form does not cater for this, but I was told to mention our child, and we got the missus a visa.

I assume you will be acting as your wifes sponsor, and mention of the children should help with the application.
