Special Operations Unit Shuts Down Secret Child Pornography Group
In a decisive action against child exploitation, the Special Operations Unit of the Department of Provincial Administration has dismantled a secret Telegram group involved in the sale of child pornography. This operation, resulting in the arrest of the group’s administrator, Mr. Kritsadakorn Phonpramote, 23, was ordered by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul. Under the leadership of Mr. Arsit Sampantharat and in close collaboration with local authorities in Saraburi, the operation was prompted by public complaints to the Ministry of Interior's Damrongtham Center regarding illicit activities on the encrypted messaging platform. Investigators uncovered a group that not only distributed graphic content involving minors, some as young as nine years old, but also charged membership fees, amassing hundreds of thousands of baht in revenue. Membership of the group was found to be both from both Thais and foreigners. The group was reportedly adept at evading law enforcement, frequently closing and reopening under different names to avoid detection. Upon thorough investigation, the Special Operations Unit successfully identified the group and sought an arrest warrant from the Saraburi Provincial Court. Mr. Phonpramote faces severe charges including: 1. Possession of child pornography for sexual exploitation. 2. Distribution of child pornography for commercial purposes. 3. Importation of obscene material into a computer system. 4. Dissemination of computer data known to be obscene. Authorities aim to expand their investigation to uncover any additional parties involved in the production and distribution of child pornography. If connections to human trafficking are established, further charges will be pursued. In a statement emphasising the government's commitment to social order, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul remarked, “Our mission is to create a peaceful and safe society, free from vices. Anything that conflicts with this goal must be eradicated. The law is clear: child pornography is illegal and poses a significant threat to our children. We urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.” This operation marks a crucial effort in the ongoing battle against child exploitation and affirms the government's dedication to protecting vulnerable populations in society. Colorado began that slide when the were one of the first states to legalize weed. I have nothing against weed but this made every worthless stoner in the USA move there. The only thing more concentrated than the THC was the stupidity of those chasing it.- 1

Not sure what planet you're living on but I've seen no change in how I'm treated as a tourist. It's always tops. The Thais are always so friendly. Bangkok has had pollution for decades and everything is still extremely cheap compared to the West. Prices have not risen as dramatically in Thailand and you can still stay in a four star hotel for around $100. Try to find that in Europe or the US or Australia.
