We now have two additional significant details. First, in the most recently proposed indictment, the Trump Justice Department proposed a new felony count of making a false statement to a financial institution (statutorily punishable by up to 30 years’ imprisonment). Second, the Trump DOJ abandoned the main theory of prosecution on which the original indictment had been based — to wit, that James had falsely represented that she would not use the modest Norfolk home at issue as a rental property and had then rented it.

In other words, the claim espoused by so many MAGA supporters that James claimed that she would use the home as her primary residence or that she had violated the terms by renting it was just a load of BS.

It's bull<deleted>.

Even Trump's DoJ knows it's bull<deleted>.

But it is safer for Trump's DoJ minions to take it to court and let the court throw them out than for them to tell the Emperor he has no clothes.

Sooo, not everyone is equal under the law. Glad to get that bs cleared up. James WILL face justice for her fraud. Even if they have to cook up a novel legal moonshot by linking her mortgage fraud to unspecified "crimes" to get her by any means - sound familiar? Geddit?😅

Btw things not going well for cash $$ Big Fani - anyone see her throwing a wobbly the other day in the senate hearing into her corruption paying lover boy Nathan Wade for working 160 hour weeks.
