How old were you and how mobile are you now?

If that was really your worst experience last year, it sounds like you had a much better year than some of us. It is a year I am thrilled to leave behind. And I am not just referring to the master of

On Dec. 23 fainting (without losing consciousness) standing in my bedroom, landing on my butt, resulting in a compression fracture (according to the x-ray) involving the collision of 2 of my lower vertebrae. (The x-ray was inconclusive whether the fracture was new or just an agravation of an earlier event.) The next 4 days were the worst pain I can remember, & I couldn't even make it to the bathroom at night without my gf (who is big) nearly carrying me, while I screamed. The next steps are complicated, and may take a couple of months or so.

Fainting as you did sounds like a classic case of a TIA. Fortunate your injury wasn't worst. According to Google, falling and sustaining an injury leading to a hospital stay can have a fatality rate reaching up to 36%.

My lover vertebrae slipped disc (2007) stands as the mother of all pain with a pinched nerve in L3 (1991) coming in at a strong second. I still have limited freedom of movement in my neck even after 30 years.

It all comes down to Forest Gump ..... "It happens"

You are correct.

However, since I am no doctor, I had not dared to mention this very likely cause.

Life is, most definitely a Box of Chocolates, and some are white, and others are not, and some are milk.

Still, while I am alive, despite perhaps having a few TIAs....

I will always value BROWN girls, and you can keep your chocolate girls....and your white girls, too....

It's just a matter of GOOD TASTE, of course....

White girls are a dime a dozen.

So are white boys, too.

Wish I could go back to the great days of Keith Floyd, when white men had a bit of panache......

So, my idea of heaven, might be:

Lying in bed with a brown girl, watching this white boy, Keith, teach us how to cook.
