January 10Jan 10 Author Many ISPs provide pre-configured routers or modem-router combos. They may:Lock down the router’s admin interface, preventing you from changing DNS settings.Use custom firmware that doesn’t allow DNS changes without special access codes.Push DNS settings automatically via DHCP or their own configuration protocols (like TR-069), which override manual changes.

I have just tried to access mega.nz log in on my True fibre and not had a problem......8 hours ago, sceadugenga said:Lock down the router’s admin interface, preventing you from changing DNS settings.Get your own router, ask True to put their router in Bridge mode or go BYOD or whatever they call it and change to just a modem from them and your own router. Install OpenWrt on it and DNS where you want.........Now what are you complaining about......🤔

DNS isn't magic... it is just a translation of text to numeric IP address.
