A senior executive’s family has lodged a complaint with The Crime Suppression Division, alleging a cross-border romance scam involving drugs, gambling and a contested divorce with assets exceeding 50 million baht. The case centres on claims that a Lao woman used a “sexual stimulant” to manipulate a retired CEO, leading to losses of more than 6 million baht and an attempted divorce settlement.

On 9 January 2026, Eak Thanakhun Jitissara, president of the Santiprachatham Club, accompanied the executive’s legal wife to file the complaint at the Central Investigation Bureau. The wife, identified only as Mrs A, 64, said the alleged scheme caused severe financial damage and threatened long-held family assets.

Mrs A said she had been married to Mr B for 36 years and that their family life was stable until his retirement just over a year ago. She claimed his behaviour changed markedly, including spending long hours livestreaming on TikTok, withdrawing from family life, and disappearing from home for periods without contact from February 2025.

According to Mrs A, financial records show multiple transfers of several hundred thousand baht at a time, totalling more than 4 million baht, plus about 2 million baht in cash. She alleged the money was used to support Ms Suay, a 48-year-old Lao woman, covering luxury hotels and overseas trips to Paris, Austria and Malaysia.

Mrs A further claimed that information from TikTok activity and confessions from former associates revealed that her husband had been given a “sexual stimulant” to induce obsession and impaired judgement. She said the funds were routed through accounts of individuals without stable employment and onward to networks in Laos linked to online gambling and lottery betting.

The complaint also alleges that Ms Suay sells online lottery tickets and participates in gambling, and that Mr B was persuaded to transfer money abroad to place online bets. Mrs A said her husband was subsequently encouraged to file for divorce, citing emotional distress, and to seek money and land worth more than 50 million baht, including attempts to prepare the family home for sale.

Eak Thanakhun warned that investigators believe the woman acted as part of an organised group and that at least six similar victims have already been identified. He urged other potential victims to come forward to police, saying the group exploited emotional vulnerability and sexual desire through social media.

Thaitabloid reported that police are expected to examine financial trails, overseas transfers and allegations of drug use and gambling offences as the investigation proceeds.

More like the smell of some young kitty

Sexual stimulants do not reroute thinking, they assembly stimulate the smaller head, which is what this guy used to do all his thinking and reasoning. Murphy was most certainly correct when he talked about creatures that have limited survival instincts.

I would’ve thought Mrs A would be familiar with Mia noi’s in Thai society. This sounds more like a greedy women not happy about seeing the money she thinks she’s entitled to diminishing rapidly from her husbands bank balance. After 36 years her husband fancied a bit of fun, presumably something Mrs A hasn’t been interested in for a long time. Fair play to the old boy, you only live once and phuk the consequences!

How did the person become a CEO?

Methinks the same way that certain individuals become presidents, prime ministers etc.

Mentioning no names, of course! 🤔
