Student Visa To Usa

My TGF is graduating from University in May 08 with a degree in Hotel Managment. In addition to completing her 4 years she also just completed her 13 week training program this summer at a 5 star BKK hotel. She's intereted in EFL courses in the USA and would like to apply for a F-1 Student Visa. Anyone have any recent experiences with the process or perhaps have a company or service that can assit her with the completion of docs and interview. There are many in BKK just thought I'd ask if any are recommended.

Thanks Andy. Do you happen know of a good agency that might be able to help out with the various forms, documentation and interview preparation. I understand there are numerous agencies that can do this in BKK and would like a reputable outfit. The tourist route is tempting but I think we'll go the student visa route.
