Pet Friendly Hotels

Featured Replies

Places we've stayed, and pet friendly. Since pet friendly, may not be the best value in the area. Some good for a pit stop, some good for longer stay. Most probably require having own transport. Priority for us, comfy or almost comfy bed, parking.

Link to playlist of 'Pet Friendly Hotel', will have name of, and or, GPS location.

Ibis chain is good for bed & locations, in some metro cities & tourist areas, most pet friendly, though usually NOT the best value.

Booking.com usually has accurate info, but cross reference w/ Gmaps, call & verify, as size of dog & pet fee, may not be listed. Agoda info is NOT dependable, if filtering 'pets friendly'

Many more on Gmaps, but that takes being fluent in Thai to sort out, and can be time consuming and a bit daunting, calling so many hotels.

We take the dog to her own hotel with small furry friends.

I haven't had good luck with that. Only one I thought wasn't a prison, even paid extra for AC, and when picked her up, she was shedding like crazy, so that was a scam. Was last time I used one, plus I just don't trust people to take care of her, like I do.

I hate being away from her any way, as much hassle as it is finding a pet friendly hotel with a view and some green for her. It's worth the hassle. I can't relax knowing she's some place else, I have not control over.

I know, I ain't normal. Besides, I may need a therapy session, then what ....

We have a real good place that only does small dogs. They have the run of the big house and outside. Comfort is not cheap 450/nt.

There's no place local for us, and a couple places north of, Pranburi & Hua Hin. Usually the wrong direction of where we're going. Great advantage of more hotel choices, & cheaper, to off set any kennel cost, but we usually head south.

The ones almost local, don't pass the 'safe' test. Either in rural area (snakes) even though nicely fenced in running area, or definitely just prison like. Same with kennels at Krung Thep, simply cages.

Only one we did find, that was nice, and they sent vid of her playing in yard & such with others. Still a little too 'open' for us, but that's the one where she was shedding when we picked her up. Could have simply been because outside more than usual. Location really wasn't that convenient, as north of Krung Thep, and just OK if that way, N or NE, and rare we are.

I'm sure it's just more, I don't like her out of sight, and she really is my 'emotional support' buddy cheesy

Do they confirm vaccination?
