Zelensky Blasts Russian 'Terrorism' After Deadly Train Strike!

Featured Replies

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has fiercely condemned a Russian drone strike on a passenger train, labeling it as "terrorism." At least four people were killed, with four more missing, after the attack in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region. The train, carrying over 200 passengers, was a direct target in a series of escalating assaults on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.

Earlier reports from Odesa highlighted a similar overnight tragedy, with Russian drones killing three and injuring 25 more. The drone strikes have wreaked havoc as Ukraine faces a harsh winter with millions left without crucial heating, electricity, and water.

Russia remains silent regarding these attacks, while Zelensky emphasizes the lack of military justification for targeting civilians. He stressed that any country would view a drone strike on a civilian train as terrorism. Disturbing images from Ukraine’s emergency services reveal a train car engulfed in flames after the disastrous hit near Yazykove village. The train route, running from Chop to Barvinkove, is vital for both residents and soldiers.

In Odesa, more than 50 drones targeted vital infrastructure, leading to collapsed residential buildings. Despite international negotiations in the UAE involving US representatives, crucial territorial disputes remain unresolved, and future talks are anticipated.

Russia’s relentless aerial assaults persist, underscoring the fragile state of peace discussions. While all sides described the recent talks as constructive, the ongoing violence starkly contradicts those diplomatic efforts.

Key Takeaways

  • Zelensky condemns the train attack, calling it Russian terrorism.

  • Millions endure harsh conditions as infrastructure crumbles under assault.

  • Diplomatic talks continue but with no resolution to key territorial disputes.

And the silence from the pseudo Nobel Peace Prize recipient is deafening!

This would have long been over if Western nations had immediately stepped up to deliver--free!--long-range solutions capable to neutralising Moscow.

Ukraine is in Europe. Even the EU won't stand with her. Obviously, it's not about doing the right thing. It's all about politics and money.

Fairly sure Ukraine hit a Russian passenger train last year.

Ukraine collapsed a bridge when a Russian passenger train was under it.

Are you suggesting that it was a deliberate attack on the train and that they were able to coordinate everything to achieve that so called objective?

The train being underneath the bridge at the exact moment of the bridge attack and collapse has to be coincidental!

I guess you have zero clue about sabotage. Don't forget Ukraine took out the Nord Stream pipeline using sabotage.

I know enough to know that bridges can be blown up when a train is travelling underneath.

The bridge collapsed that caused the train to crashed inside Russia that caused 8 people dead is still without details on the cause. Ukraine has not make any claims. Ukraine claimed they targetted the Crimea Bridge ( a legitimate war target) with underwater explosive and bridge was closed to traffic.

Yes. and numerous other atrocities.

Such as the targeted assassination of Aleksandr Dugin that went terribly wrong, killing his daughter Darya.

Possibly with the help of, or actually done by, "foreign intelligence agencies".

This proxy war should have been ended long ago.

The big difference is that terrorism against civilians is a major part of war criminal Putin's war plan as he has massively failed on the front in recent years. The Ukraine plan against Russia is NOT terrorist. There is the grey area question of attacking civilian energy infrastructure. Ukraine has done that in direct retaliation of what Russia has done. Not the same thing at all as directly targeting apartment blocks, hospitals, schools, etc. and attacking later to kill aid workers.

Russia is trying to destroy the morale of the Ukrainian people via terrorism. Ukraine is trying to destroy the financial capability of Russia to continue the war (oil industry targets).

Timed to happen when an autonomous underwater drone is involved. 🤣

It can ONLY be a coincidence as it could not be timed/coordinated.

War is messy.

Again the difference is intention.

Russia goes on human safari against villagers (war crimes),

Ukraine goes after uniformed Russian soldoers (legit war).

The invasion of Ukraine by Russia is the atrocity. The characterisation of the war in Ukraine as a 'proxy war 'is a Russia propaganda advance by Russian officials and Putin.
